Treasured Time with My Children

But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.”

Father God, give me more time with my children. They are growing up so quickly. Some of my favorite times are right before bed when we read and snuggle together. Help me to make time for this. Show me the importance of gathering my children close. You loved the little children. You rebuked Your disciples when they tried to clear away the crowd of kids. You reached out to children. You held them and spoke with them. You wanted them. You valued them. Remind me each day that these babies You have blessed me with are treasures. They are worth more than any project or deadline. They mean the world to me. Help me to never neglect my time with them. Multiply my time, I pray. I have so much to do; there’s no denying there’s a lot on my plate. But help me to prioritize so that I always have time for my children. I thank You for my kids, and I pray we will always be close. In Jesus’ name, amen.
